This week, we focused on shooting with our cell phone cameras and photographing food. If you stumbled upon our Facebook page and you weren’t hungry, chances are you left yearning for Tina’s ham and cream cheese rolls, Jenny’s Smoothie or Jacquelyn’s Super Yummy Banana Oatmeal Cookie that strangely enough, matched her countertop. This week, as usual, we saw a ton of great shots. And I think it’s fair to say, you guys are on your way to becoming amazing photographers. Of course, we’re still only three weeks in and Stephanie Glover has a lot to teach us, but we’re impressed. Very impressed.
Since it’s only three weeks in, now’s the time to holler at all your friends and invite them to join us. It’s not too late. And having a buddy to help you along the way keeps you motivated. We’ve got a fun, windy road of self exploration ahead of us. And having a travel companion would be lovely. If you want to invite them, make sure they RSVP and check out this post.
And just in case you like free cruises, we’re running a Valentine’s Day Contest where you could win a FREE cruise from CruiseDeals.com and a $500 VISA Gift Card. Here are the details.

I love being part of this project and seeing weekly pictures from others! My one complaint though is that there seems to be a lot of pics from the same people you feature in your weekly roundup. They’re all great photos but I’d appreciate more diversity. There’s hundreds of photos posted on your Facebook event page each week so it seems odd you’d feature 2 or 3 photos from the same person.
Thanks for the feedback. We will be more aware of this in the weeks ahead.
OMG…I’m one of the best pictures!!! Can’t believe that!!
Thanks for taking part, Priscilla. Daily, the office ohhs and ahhs over the amazing shots of our community.
I love the 365 Project and am using my camera daily to practice and learn your weekly lessons/tips! But I’ve only posted photos that depict the weekly theme. Seeing the wide range of subjects in the featured photos from the week, does it mean that the theme is just a suggestion, but you want us to post “whatever?” … just curious. Again, thanks for challenging me!
Hey Cindy! Our themes are just suggestions. You can shoot whatever you’d like.
