Every year, it’s important to remind your Mother of how much she means to you. As a mother of two, I know how important this special day is. And I also know how lovely it is when I receive a handmade gift. In honor of Mother’s Day this year, we’ve created a list of some really fun and easy Picaboo projects that your Mother or wife or daughter will love. I promise.  To make sure your gift arrives in time, check out our Mother’s Day Shipping Guide.

All About My Mom Art Poster

Take your kids art and turn it into a fun and adorable keepsake. Here’s how to do it: Scan or photograph the art piece you’d like to include then upload that image into Picaboo and place it on a Collage Poster or a Canvas Poster. For added fun, have your child draw a picture of your Mom and label her features with funny sayings or sweet compliments. Our collage posters start at $3.99. Or canvas posters start at $34.99. Here’s more information on pricing. For more instructions and inspiration on turning kids art into a photo book, read this post.

Monogrammed Stationery For Her

Everyone needs note cards and Picaboo makes it easy to create custom note cards for every occasion. When you’re in Picaboo, choose the “My Own Design” collection and then pick either Folded Cards (horizontal or vertical) or Flat Cards and select Signature Stationery. Then upload all the images you’ll need. For great alpha embellishments, here are some of our favorite selections from Peppermint Creative. Order in increments of 10 for your best savings. Prices start at $1.29 for 1-10 cards. Here’s more information on pricing.

“You Sound Like Your Mom” Canvas or Collage Poster

Moms hate repeating themselves. So why not make it easy on them and create a canvas poster with all their favorite quotes. This way, Mom can just point when she wants to remind you of something! Don’t forget to include: “Don’t make me turn this car around!” or “I’m not gonna ask you again to eat your peas!” To add quotes to your project, select “+Caption” and choose from over 80 typefaces. We suggest you just stick to two or three. Our collage posters start at $3.99. Or canvas posters start at $34.99. Here’s more information on pricing.

A Brag Book for Your Daughter

Moms are busy but there’s one thing they’ll always stop to do and that’s talk about their kids. As a Grandmother, you may have more time (and more energy) to create a brag book for your daughter. This book could include cute shots of her kids and fun memories from a previous outing. As a fun way to organize the book, you could include a Table of Contents so Mom can quickly find a specific event to show her friends. Our Classic Book styles start at $9.99. Here’s more information on our photo book styles. For inspiration, check out Reagan’s Busy Day, Heather’s Pregnant, Anabelle’s ABC’s and The Story of Little Brown Bear.

Funny Expressions Photo Panel

Our photo panels make nice desk accessories. And since they’re freestanding, they carry their own load. How much happier do you think your mom could be? Want to add some humor to your photo panel? Ask your daughter why Mom is better than Cinderella or your son why Mom is funnier than Buzz Lightyear. Then add her answer in a caption box. Our photo panels start at $14.99. Here’s more information on pricing.

Mom’s Awesome Book

Who says you have to wait for someone to make you a gift? Every Mom deserves to choose her own gift and this year, why not store all your fun accomplishments in a Picaboo photo book. Celebrate the milestones in your life. Like your first job, your wedding, your first dog, photos from a special trip and don’t forget to include the birth of your kids. This fun book is yours and best of all, you can decide what goes in it! Our Classic Book styles start at $9.99. Here’s more information on our photo book styles.

The National Calendar of Mom

This fun gift lasts all year long! Add images of her favorite foods and her favorite kids for each month. Mix up the seasons and have pictures of the kids in swimsuits for December and snow suits in June. Or do the opposite! Either way, Mom will love this yearlong gift! Add captions to the date boxes to remind her of important days like her birthday and more importantly, National Pickle Day, which in case you forgot, is on November 14th. Our Classic Calendar  starts at $19.99. Here’s more information on our calendars. And here’s a calendar made by one of our customers that is sure to inspire.

Mom’s “What’s For Dinner” Cookbook

For all the recipes you have now and the recipes to come, this fun recipe book can be full of your favorites or you can include empty pages where she can add new recipes. Choose from over 20,000 Picaboo backgrounds to add color and design to your cookbook. With a write-able cookbook, you can make this treasured gift in less than 20 minutes! Our Classic Book styles start at $9.99. Here’s more information on our photo book styles. And here are our recommendation for choosing the right pen on your Picaboo photo book. The New Mom’s Handy Feeding Schedule Book

When you’re a new mom, there’s a lot to remember. Like how many ounces your baby ate or the length of their nap. To make life easy for your daughter or your wife, consider making a baby book. Include areas for her to write down her feeding, pumping and sleeping schedule. And don’t forget to leave room for all those firsts. First laugh. First smile. First taste of applesauce! This treasured book is easy to make, just choose “Girl” or “Boy” from Picaboo’s background selections and leave some room for her to write down everything. Our Classic Book styles start at $9.99. Here’s more information on our photo book styles. And here are our recommendation for choosing the right pen on your baby book.
