I set my WB to Cloudy when shooting outdoors because I like warm tones to my photos. It saves me a step in post-processing! Just a personal preference! :)

I’m curious why you set your white balance to “cloudy” when shooting outdoors? What is the effect you’re looking to achieve? Why not use “daylight” or even “auto white balance”? I live in Southwest Florida where we experience almost constant sunshine — what would be the best choice in that situation?
