Wow this week has flown by! I really enjoyed getting to know a little bit about where each of you live through your panoramic photos. What a great journey this challenge has been! We went to the beach, to the top of mountains, to the center of your streets and beyond.
1. Barbara Clerihue: I feel like I am standing on top of this mountain getting ready to ski down! {Something I would never do, by the way}. This appears to have been taking very early in the morning and I love the sun just peeking out over the horizon.
2. Stephanie Storkey: I love the processing in this photograph! You able to capture the marina nicely. I love the reflection of the trees in the horizon.
3. Alana Abercromnie: This is a fabulous panorama of one of the most famous photographed cities. I love the glow that is coming out of the city.
4. Lettie Maciel: The colors in this are amazing! I like the silhouettes of the trees. Next time, I would back up just a tad so you don’t cut off the tops of the trees.
5. Tammy Thomas: I feel like I am going on a journey in this photograph, going down a different path. I love when a photographs reaches out and makes me feel something!
6. Lisa Sego: And I made it down to the bottom of the mountain! The building on the left really stands out from all the white snow to the right. Including that in your shot helps the viewer know where they are.
7. Laurie Brown: I’m a sucker for a beach sunset! Very nice use of the pier for a leading line right out to the fading sun.
8. Kari O’Gorman: I love the reflection in this photograph. I am not sure what the building is but you did a great job showing it’s size in the panorama.
9. Jann Kostka: The layers in this photo are fantastic! From the tree spotted hills, to the snow covered mountain in middle, to the pink sunset sky. Great job incorporating all of these layers in your panoramic photo.
10. Barb Tatum: The colors and clarity of this photo are spot on! Had the dock not been in the picture, the reflection would have been a perfect mirrored image. You wouldn’t be able to tell which was the reflection and which was the landscape. Great job!
11. Annmarie Lamser: This photograph makes me feel like I have to make a choice. Which building do I chose? I love that they are almost mirrors of each other.
12. Dolly Duff: I told you I was a sucker for a sunset! I like how you put the sunset off centered, following the rule of thirds. Another nice silhouette!
13. Jan Sumner: Another great photo with some layers: the water, the tree line, the mountains, and the sky!
14. Linda Kincaid: I feel like I am standing int he middle of a blizzard! Next time, remember to leave some fat so that you can get the tops of the trees!
15. Wendy Martelle: I love how the light is hitting the top of the mountain range in the distance! I would have panned a little bit more on the sides to show some more of the trees. However, I do love how the color in this photograph is in the center portion of the picture.
Now that you’ve seen them, tell us which photograph is your favorite!
